It's nice to have the option to take a break from subscriptions, especially as platforms tend to increase their cost overtime. There are a variety of reasons a break might be necessary -- from just needing a rest, to going on holiday, to experiencing temporary hardship -- and rather than canceling the subscription, putting it on "pause" would be helpful. To me, it aligns with the mentality of a supportive community-forward platform.
